Dr. Hernandez
is originally from Caguas , Puerto Rico. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in the Veteran Administration Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico and his Cardiovascular Fellowship in Ponce School of Medicine Damas and Saint Luke Hospital. Dr. Hernandez also completed a Proctorship In Interventional Cardiology at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center part of BJC Healthcare. He also completed his Nuclear Cardiology training at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia.

Dr. Hernandez
is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and CArdiovascular Dieases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and currently is the Director of the CArdiology Department at Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, Georgia. His special interest include General Cardiology, Invasive and Interventional Cardiology.
